ABOUT US
Willamina Free Methodist church is a loving community located in the West Yamhill Valley area of Oregon dedicated to declaring the love of Jesus and transforming lives. We have been ministering in Willamina since the early twentieth century, seeking to bring wholeness to the lives of broken people through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Today, in the 21st century, we seek to continue strong in that mission, proclaiming the Kingdom of God through evangelism, social justice, and the pursuit of individual holiness.
We subscribe to orthodox Christian beliefs about God and the authority of the Bible, as well as the central theological tenants of Wesleyan Methodism: that all need to be saved, all can be saved, all may know that they are saved, and that all can be saved to the utmost completeness in Christ. Our more unique emphases include freedom from slavery, women’s rights, and racial equality.
